Rare Feather Earrings, AJ Launch Trailer and Original Intro Video

And as May 8th, 2017 comes to a close, Penguin has returned to write his update post.
So yep, I'm back again. Today has been more of a bad day. Sometimes when I play basketball games, I get nervous. I have what it takes to be good physically at the game- but sometimes, I can't do it mentally. I feel like I am horrible at it, but I still won't give up on playing. I get nervous in game and think that if I try and mess up, others will laugh. Now, at this point, I've been playing basketball for 3-4 hours a day on weekends, and about 2 on weekdays. I have improved so much over the time and it is truly one of my passions. But today, I totally blew my chance to prove myself. I missed every shot because I was nervous. I just don't know how to get over the nervous part in game. And when this kind of stuff happens, it affects me all day- I constantly think about it. I'm not asking for advice, but I'm going to need to find a way to overcome being nervous. This can be practiced even out of games.
Whew... that was a long paragraph. I sometimes doubt I'll ever get good at what I like, but I know that I somehow will become better one day. Now let's begin looking at today's updates. The rare item today can be purchased at Jam Mart Clothing!

For the next part of the post, I have a video to share with you guys. I found it quite interesting.

The AJ Launch Trailer has always been one of my favorite videos on Youtube. You can just watch it and spot all of the differences between modern day Animal Jam and the Beta. This video really makes me proud to play the game itself. It has improved so much and is now one of the best online games out there
Finally, I've decided to share another video in this post. However, this video has a completely different meaning than the other.

Return of the Alphas shows the original lore of Animal Jam. It is what I still think AJHQ should use to explain to newer Jammers. Back in the days (I feel old saying that lol) this video was used as the introduction for new Jammers. I honestly think this is a much better introduction than Peck. No offense to Peck, but I miss the Liza introductions. But yes, this video shows more of the original AJ lore and that's why I think it is another important clip people should watch.
Now that's the end of today's update post. This was way better than writing about some boring Daily Explorer updates. Blogs are always changing! I'm going to go now- it's getting late. Bye guys!

Items of Jamaa, Episode 26: Gloves

Hey guys! Welcome back to another morning post.
Today, I found an item with tons of history. It'll definitely be much more interesting than most Items I use for the "Items of Jamaa" series. So let's begin. The Glove is our topic today! Also, credits go to the Animal Jam Wiki for this information. 

- It was first released during Beta Testing.
- It was re-released on November 20, 2014.
- If you wear a Rare Glove (one of the original colors) during an adventure, it'll do 25 damage. 
- There is a Rare Freedom Glove, another variation of the regular version.
- Another variation is the Spring Glove.
- Both the Silver Glove and Golden Glove are similar to the main one; but they have differences. The Silver Glove is completely- well, silver. The Golden Glove is members only.
- Sometime after February 2012, the original gloves were given rare tags. 
- The original glove was mistakenly titled "Gloves" until 2013!
- After April 2014, the original glove had been renamed "Rare Glove".
- It is possible to win the original glove and others in adventures such as Return of the Phantoms and The Phantom Portal. They were also available in the Trading Party Claw Machine.
- The Glove is pretty similar to the Diamond Encrusted Gauntlets, but they also have differences.
- The price of the Glove has varied upon different releases over the years.
- In November 2011, the Glove was available for purchase at the Shiveer Shoppe.

The Glove is another one of those legendary items. It's been around for a long time and everyone knows about it. It may not be considered rare anymore, but I still think it's a cool clothing accessory to own. Anyways, that's a wrap on today's morning post! Until this afternoon. this is goodbye.

Propeller, SBI Explained and Subterranean Lake Theory

Hello to all you people out there. I'm back for the update post today!
So I recently decided my posts would no longer have DE updates. They are pointless and share little importance to the other parts of the post. But what am I going to use to replace them? Currently I have a new idea: interesting AJ facts. There are thousands upon thousands of AJ facts- about the game, about animals, and many more. I'll be including them in my update posts now. However, I'll eventually get bored of doing these over and over, and that's made me think of a few other ideas. If I don't feel like including interesting facts on certain days, I'll have other options. Tips/tricks to Animal Jam is one of my options. For tips and tricks, I'll be giving advice on any AJ related topics from my personal experience. When I do these, feel free to comment topics I can post about! I'm also going to have Video days that can be AJ related or not- but they must be somewhat interesting and eligible to start a conversation. 
So those are how I'm replacing Daily Explorer updates. Comment your opinion on my new ideas below! Now, let's begin the first update post in the "new AJ Spring era". (That sentence was so cringy lol)
The new item today can be found in Bahari Bargains, and it is the returning Propeller!

For the second part of the post today, I have an interesting fact to share with you guys. In the Hot Cocoa Hut, there are two bags labeled "SBI". Some people know what it stands for, and others don't. Here is a picture of them both.

Animal Jam was originally made by two Companies: National Geographic and Smart Bomb Interactive. The SBI on those bags stands for the second company I named above. Over time, Smart Bomb Interactive changed its name to Wildworks, and it still works with National Geographic today. 
Finally, the last part of my posts are going to be anything I want. Today I came up with a new theory, relating to the caves/tunnels that people think connect Mt. Shiveer to Crystal Sands. In Crystal Sands, there is a waterfall at the top that gives water to the slides.

If you look at it from the World Map, it heads into the distant mountains.

So where is this water coming from? My theory here is that the caves/tunnels underground include some sort of lake. It might be some sort of subterranean lake that is giving off water to to Crystal Sands. A river might connect the lake to the waterfall. This idea is even more convincing when many people believe these underground tunnels give Jamaa resources, along with connecting lands. 
Now, that idea is kind of far fetched. The rivers separating Jamaasian lands are more likely to be giving the waterfall water. But I still like to make theories, no matter how stupid they are. You might never the the truth, so it's better to have ideas than nothing!

New Template - The Midnight Tiger Preys Tonight

Hi people! As you've probably noticed, I just finished updating the blog's new template. For each template, I have a small story behind them. Let me explain this one.

The Midnight Tiger is a legendary animal, somewhere out in the mystical lands unknown to humans. It lives among many other animals and organizes them into tribes, while he is their main leader. However, his authority soon becomes threatened. A White Wolf, who was formerly a leader of one tribe (a secondary leader), is now rebelling against the Midnight Tiger with an army of his own. They kill innocent animals to try and gain power over all the tribes. The Midnight Tiger has now decided to do something about it... and he will prey tonight on the animals who betrayed him and his innocent citizens. The battle will go down in history. 

Obviously, this template's music is from The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. I was hesitant about using it because the music is, well, too good for a blog lol. But it fit well with the theme, and I really hope you guys enjoy it! I'm going to end this post now, but I'll be back soon with today's updates. Bye!

Template Update Delay

Guys, I just wanted to say that I'm going to have to delay the template update. Yes, I said I would update it today. I found everything I need- a picture for the header, a background, and the proper music. Right now, I just need rest. My sunburn hurts pretty badly now, and besides that, I think I have a small fever. Maybe it's allergies. But yeah, I just need rest. When I wake up tomorrow, I'll begin working on the template. I am incredibly sorry for this though!

Returning Trough Item, My Favorite Masterpieces and End of DE Updates?

Hi people of Jamaa- ready for another post?
Today I will be updating the blog's template. I can confirm that. But for now, I'm concentrating on today's update post. Let's get right into it! So firstly, here is the new item, which is available at Jam Mart Furniture.

The Trough ha returned to stores. It seems like AJHQ has been concentrating on farms a lot lately.
Now, there is no Daily Explorer update today, and I don't think there will be. But I have more to talk about for this topic later. For now, let's just move on to the next part of the post. Recently, I was going through my masterpieces when three caught my eyes. These three are my favorites Masterpieces I own.

I really like the art style on all of them! The first two are more personal- they're drawings of my main look, even though now I don't really use it too often. The third masterpiece is one I trade for a while ago, and I just find it quite cool. These are now all on display at my den since I rarely have any masterpieces in it.
So, remember what I said earlier about there not being a Daily Explorer update today? Well, I'm starting to think there won't be ever again on this blog. Honestly, DE Updates are pointless. Nobody really cares about them, and if they did, they could just visit the Daily Explorer themselves. I know that DE Updates have been a huge part of my update posts, but I will no longer include them. Yes, this is my decision. I'll find something else to replace them, but for now I won't be posting Daily Explorer updates anymore. I hope you guys understand this!

Pixelated Koala Head, DE Update and Atlantis Ruins Den Idea

Hey guys!
I kind just skipped posting this morning. There wasn't really any particular reason for me, and I still need time to think about ideas.
Anyways, the carnival day was cool! I did get a sunburn though, lol.
Now, getting into the updates today, here is the new item::

Secondly, here is the Daily Explorer update,

Finally, I have another den idea on my mind: the Lost City of (insert some Jamaasian name here.). It would be an underwater den and have ruins of an ancient Jamaasian city. In my opinion, it would be somewhat related to the Lost Ruins den, but more like an epic version.

I got this idea from the Lost City of Atlantis itself. I feel like it should be a huge underwater den, and with it, AJHQ should release a bunch of items. You'd need alot if it would become an Atlantis sized den.

So that's another idea on how to make the oceans more popular. What do you think of it?
