A Little Rant on "The Challenge"

Hey, lol.
In my time of doing the nothing to headdress challenge, there's been a lot of people that are annoying. Especially when they say this.
Literally, people say this. They don't even understand the challenge if they really think this is what it means. If you watch the original version that Julian2 made, he never revealed what he was doing. The challenge is about putting in the work, not about getting free stuff randomly for exclaiming that you're doing "the challenge". Besides, a lot of greedy people use this method to simply earn rares. And it's annoying.
Okay, that's all I have to say here.

HUUUUUUUUGE Shoutout to onacat!

So I was continuing the nothing to headdress challenge today and noticed someone who said they were hosting a giveaway because they were quitting. I ended up getting so many rares from them. I don't know if I should count these in the challenge, but I'm leaning towards yes because it isn't cheating, it's just that I won a giveaway. Everyone does that to get better items. But anyways, this person was very kind and wanted to give me these items, and I really appreciate it! These will be put towards great use.

In total, I received, excluding the Beard and Rare Jamaaliday Cozy Shoes:

Once again, thanks onacat!

Nothing To Headdress Challenge - Part 2

This is part two of the challenge that'll be extremely hard. Let's get right into it! Oh, and by the way, I don't think I said this in the intro post to this series, but as I get each trade I'll be updating this live until I decide to post it.
This time, I first traded the woven shoes and two pieces of default furniture for some Rare Woven Shoes.
Then I traded the rare woven shoes, rare direwolf plushie, and giraffe pet for a Rare Sun Hat. This was a great deal as its one of those rare summer carnival items.
After this, I logged back on later and tried to trade the short wrist. It was a success, and I got the adventure nerd glasses.
My idea now is to try and trade those nerd glasses and the sun hat for a long wrist. Let's see what I can do.

Okay, I've literally been trading for an hour straight and have gotten nothing. So, I guess it's time to conclude part two. I don't know if I'll be posting this daily, but I'm gonna try and post it often. The whole purpose of this is to truly show that, with hard work, you can achieve your dreams, no matter where you start from. It just takes a lot of time and effort. It's also an interesting topic that I think you guys will enjoy, even though it's not my usual posting style where I'm funny and not serious (lol). But I'm tired of trading for today and this is the end of part 2.

Part 2 results: Adventure Rare Nerd Glasses, Rare Sun Hat, Two Pieces of Default Furniture

Nothing to Headdress Challenge - Part 1

Hey people of Animal JAM!
Jam, lol, I don't know why I emphasized that, but it's just hilarious.
But in this post, nobody does these anymore, and it would be actually fun to do it. Especially the hard way. But here's my twist. It's a nothing to headdress challenge. That's pretty hard.
I made an account called rhinomaster12345. I've gotten a few trades so far and currently have an orange wrist. Trust me, I didn't just start ut with that lol, it's just because I was just messing around, made a new account, and traded for a little while, then decided to do this. So, from now on, I'll be logging my trades onto these posts.
I'm going to admit something, too. Trading is something honestly fun in the game. In no ways am I siding with those rare obsessed Aldaners that only care about pixels, but trading is the base of Animal Jam. It's main attraction. Without it, I guarantee the game would be gone in one minute. And finally, I do actually find a little fun in working hard, trading up, and trying to get something. I am just not literally obsessed with rares and willing to scam people like most of the brainwashed people on the game. Anyways, this (possibly) series will get me a little bit more involved in the game, which might lead to talking to friends more, which also might lead to me posting a little more. I used which a lot in that sentence, but I don't care.
I haven't traded for a while, though, not at least since 2017. So this challenge might be a little difficult. Let's begin where I'm at now, with the orange wrist. Wait one second, though, because I also have some woven shoes and the AJ default furniture set, which are literally the rarest items ever. (Obviously not a joke)
In the first day of the account, I bought woven shoes as my first item. Then someone traded me a pizza hat from the summer carnival for a default furniture item. Yes! I managed to get really lucky when I got a diamond non member item for something I don't remember. I then traded the pizza hat for a diamond spiked collar, which was an under trade, but the person decided they didn't want the spike anyways. After that I got a deal where I traded the diamond spike and (I think) diamond gauntlets for a short orange wrist.
I just recently traded a default furniture piece for a turqoise ring. Another furniture piece was traded for a Team Direwolf Plushie. These will be ok items to add onto trades and help build up from the orange wrist.

All I did to get these was go to Jamaa Township and say "trade me, looking for deals!"
Ok so... I've been sitting here trading for like an hour. I have made no progress since those two items.
Finally, I just traded the orange wrist and turquoise ring for a yellow wrist, which is a little better and more likely to get offers.
I then just got a decent trade, where someone gave me their pet giraffe for a default furniture item.
Ok, that's gonna conclude part 1 of this challenge. This will probably take a long time to complete. I have no good post outros anymore, so bye, lol.

A New Mysterious Update

Hey guys, lol.
So yesterday there was a new update. There's not much in it, but one thing I want to address. That thing is the second page of the journal.
Okay, so we finally have something new and mysterious on our hands again. What could the statue mean, though? I'll be disappointed if it leads to some new animal like another rip off Arctic Wolf. I really hope that AJHQ is going to try and add some more lore to the game. Also, hopefully this could lead to a new feature or something cool being released, but I doubt it. This was the only interesting part of the update, too, as everything else was obviously repetitive and returning.
Anyways, in the Temple of the Ancients, there are now scrolls with messages on them. They'r scattered on the floor there.

What do you guys think this could mean? There are honestly a lot of possibilities. I just hope it does not lead to another new animal.

I'm going to end this boring post now. I'll see you next time.

I Literally Miss The Past, lol

Umm, I was originally planning on making this post days ago, and maybe making it long. But I don't feel like it lol. I can still sum things up in a paragraph, though.
Posting about AJ updates and all that stuff felt like a chore. I know, all Bloggers pretty much say that now, and it's a stereotypical way for them to explain why they don't post as much. It's my explanation, also. I just want to say that I miss the old days. The game was so much more fun. Part of that was probably because I was younger, yes, but the entire game is just boring now. We've experienced everything on it. Most of the people that play AJ now are just newcomers, younger kids, or Aldaners that have been around since like 2016. These guys are still pretty new to the game and for the Bloggers, it's a different story. I wish that I could have fun and constantly talk to friends on this game again. It just can't happen though. It's a super boring game and they need to release newer stuff. I don't even care if it is something trendy or popular. Even if AJ tries to act cool by releasing features related to current trends. It will improve the game if it is fun and doesn't take 1 minute to complete, whatever it could be.
I don't know if you can tell, but I always say lol in my posts now. I know that I overuse it. But it's the only way to carry on my pathetic posts, lol.
I've said everything I needed to now. These things were on my mind a lot lately.

The Key to AJ Improvement?

I actually have a ton of things I want to share in posts now! I might just set a record for 2018 for the most posts made in a day on the AJ Spring.
But yeah. The key to AJ improvement. One of my latest posts about google search statistics proved that the game has seen better days. This post will show ways that AJ can improve its game, at least in my opinion.
As I've said, this game is repetitive. The same features are constantly being released. Just look at the latest update.

New animal? Been there, done that. Wild Weekend? Been there, done that. New pet? Been there, done that. Beach House? Been there, done that. New exhibit that nobody will visit? Great rhyme, but been there, done that. Spirit Armor that was released for an MMG in 2013 which is now being released as one of those armor sets that AJ returns all the time? Been there, done that. Summer items? Page filler. Useless.
See what I mean? Animal Jam does not need updates like these. And there's a reason they're doing them. A video recently uploaded by Julian2 explains exactly what I was thinking.
AJHQ has to be thinking that everybody that plays AJ just joined or something. They must believe that players quit after about a year. That's why the game is repetitive because new people will be new to the returning features. It all makes sense.
As in the video above, AJHQ needs to bring out more new features. Things that will draw attention. Sure, they might not last forever, but they will keep older players interested. For example:
- Adventures
- New Lands
- Eggstravaganza
- Lore

These things were all interesting to have in game. They really improved it. Things like auction houses, diamond mining, or anything just new to the game, would help.
I really needed to get that out. It's been on my mind. Thanks for reading, lol. (< my favorite ending, lol.)

How To Get Rares and Gems Easily

This post is going to be an easy way to get rares and gems easily. I used this a lot in my past.
So, a lot of you are members. A lot of you really care about gems, rares, and all that stuff. And lastly, a lot of you play The Forgotten Desert.
Everyone gets prizes that are lame from that adventure. They think "oh, a rare (insert name here). That's stupid." And the they click the decline option. If you want to get rarer and get more gems, keep every item you receive from the Forgotten Desert. The trick is to keep everything, and then recycle anything you don't want/need when you get out of the adventure. Do this many times and you'll eventually get items that are worth something, and if not, you still have tons of items to recycle. Those times spent playing the Forgotten Desert wouldn't be useless then. Also, OPEN CHESTS. I don't even know if this is a thing anymore, but chests do not decrease your chances of getting a spike. Those are the funniest rumors I've ever heard and they really show that AJ has a younger population. Anyways, chests sometimes have good prizes in them, but if not, they are easy gems.
Getting all these gems will allow you to invest in clearance items, mystery items, and diamond items. It'll also allow you to trade gems for diamonds/tickets. These make the game much easier.
That's probably the easiest way to earn gems and rares, honestly. You have to be a lot more experienced to do trading in Aldan, as it can be tough. It takes a lot more knowledge on rares.
These are some tips that I used back when I was obsessed with AJ. Hopefully they can help anyone who is into this stuff.
Umm... so... I'm making an awkward end now... bye lol.

Successful AJ Blogger Traits

This is a post I'm making for the newer bloggers. It's a thought that randomly came to mind.
To be a successful Animal Jam blogger, there are certain things you should do. Let me give a list of them.

#1: Get involved with the community. You can't just create a blog randomly out of nowhere. You have to get involved with other bloggers and meet new people. Read other blogs, befriend other bloggers. This not only helps with making a successful blog, but it also makes great friendships.

#2: Analyze other blogs. See what makes them successful. You don't have to copy them, though. It's more of an influence. All bloggers were influenced by someone or something. Make our posts your own kind of way, though take into consideration what others do to be successful.

#3: Make your blog look intriguing! Don't have some simple plain white background, Arial text, no organization, or no theme. It's always great to put effort into your blog's template. It'll definitely attract a lot more viewers.

#4: Switch up your posts. Do not always create posts that have the same layout and topic. For example, take daily update posts. These are a great way to help viewers, and get an audience. However, if they are repetitive in nature, and constantly have the same layout, this will eventually become boring. If you choose to make update posts a lot, there is proper way to do it. Looking back at my old posts, I found that all update posts may start with a similar layout, (new item, etc.) but have an interesting part that is different from others. This is a very good feature for update posts. Another great example of this is the AJ Legendary Palooza. Violet creates update posts but always have something interesting and different to share in each. I used to do this, too, but I barely post anymore.

#5: Get involved with your audience. Don't ignore them. Reply to comments, understand their thoughts. Maybe even host giveaways or Fashion Shows. Nafaria9, the owner of The Animal Jam Whip, has Fashion Shows for different seasons and they are always fun to join. I probably didn't do it, though, because I'm bad at dressing for themes lol. But anyways, these are a great way to involve your audience with the blog. It's a fun way, too. It really does help.

#6: You don't have to always post about Animal Jam. Of course, this is your choice, but sometimes posting about our own life helps. I wouldn't say it helps with viewers, but it definitely helps you improve as a blogger and person. You can feel better by getting help from your friends on Blogger, who are all probably amazing people. If only the entire AJ community was that way, right?

#7: Make your blog your own. Put effort into making it the way you want. Make it a special and unique blog. This really attracts more viewers and honestly gives you a lot of confidence knowing that your own ideas worked.

#8: Put effort into posting. If you want to be successful after starting, really put effort into posting a lot. Think of new ideas and post about them. I do not post a lot anymore because I don't really have a passion for the game at this point. I've had my share of posting a lot, though. If you don't post a lot, it's fine, though. There's always a reason as to why, and it is common for bloggers who have been around longer.

P.S. the first post can be pretty cringey, especially the younger you are. Don't worry how experienced you are in writing or stuff like that. Just evolve as times goes on.

That's really all I can think of for now. I hope this helps all newer bloggers. I have no good words to end this post, so goodbye.
